King Size Memory Foam Mattress
I’ve just been told by a friend of mine who has a King size memory foam mattress that it provides the most comfortable night’s sleep ever. It got me curious, and i done a little research. I found out they were developed over 3 decades ago at the AMES Research centre by NASA.
They needed to developed a substance that would be able to absorb shocks from G-Forces during turbulent space flight. They developed a mattress made out of chemicals and hence visco elastic was developed. None of us need to be protected by the absorption of G forces, but this is what makes the mattress some comfy. It has a thick layer of memory foam.
You can actually get the memory foam in different depths from 3 inches to 12. The top layer of foam lets your mass sink in and leave an impression. You are supported on the shape your spine takes. They say this is good for your back. This foam must be what provides users with a more relaxed sleep.
